At their meeting held on August 5, 2010, the Board of Directors of Chesapeake Utilities Corporation (NYSE: CPK) declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.33 per share on the Company’s common stock. The $0.33 per share dividend will be paid October 5, 2010 to all shareholders of record at the close of business on September 15, 2010.

Dividend Payment Schedule
The payment dates for dividends on Chesapeake’s common stock are typically the fifth day of January, April, July and October (or next business day if the fifth of the month falls on a weekend or holiday). This schedule of dividend payments is based on previous quarters and is subject to change at the discretion of our Board of Directors.
