BravePoint® was one of the first IT companies to recognize the demand for skilled technical consultants in Progress technologies. Founded in 1987 under the name Comsys, the company quickly saw rapid growth. In 1991 Comsys changed its name to United Systems, Inc. ("USI").

As market needs expanded, so did the range of products and services USI offered. In 2001 USI changed its name to BravePoint® to reflect a bold new approach to meeting tough business challenges and to describe the wide but focused suite of solutions the company offered at a single point of contact.

BravePoint® has developed applications and provided training and consulting for companies as diverse as Ford Motor Company®, Snapple Beverage®, Avon®, and Home and Garden Television®. In each case, clients have benefited from BravePoint®'s understanding of how technology can be used to meet the most pressing business challenges.
