Natural Gas Distribution
Chesapeake’s recent merger with Florida Public Utilities Company (FPU) added approximately 51,500 residential, commercial and transportation natural gas distribution customers, serving seven counties in Florida.

Electric Distribution
Electric distribution is a new business added to the Company with the FPU merger. FPU distributes electricity to approximately 31,000 customers in five counties in northeast and northwest Florida.

Propane Distribution
Chesapeake added as a result of the merger with FPU, approximately 14,000 customers to Chesapeake’s existing propane presence in Florida. Sharp Energy’s operations in Florida have been primarily merged into FPU’s propane distribution operations, adding 1,950 customers to FPU’s customer portfolio.
