Dover, DE – Chesapeake Utilities Corporation (NYSE: CPK) announced today that Chesapeake Utilities, the Company’s natural gas distribution division, will be celebrating African American History Month through the second annual Citywide Black History Celebration hosted by the Delaware State News.

“The African American community has a long, proud history here in Delaware, and Chesapeake Utilities is honored to take part in the recognition of the community’s achievements and culture,” said Aleida Socarras, Vice President, Chesapeake Utilities. “By cultivating a diverse and inclusive workforce, we aspire to reach new heights as a Company.”

The celebration will highlight local African American history, culture, art, music and theatre. Tickets to the events are free but registration is required.
