Medium Pressure Single Meter:

This illustration is of a typical meter facility on a medium pressure system. It differs from the low pressure meter because a regulator is included to reduce the pressure of the incoming gas anywhere from 10-12 psi for propane and 20-30 psi for natural gas to a much lower pressure of around one quarter pound per square inch.
