The Black Employee Network (BEN) Employee Resource Group at Chesapeake Utilities Corporation is proud to invest in the next generation of leaders, innovators and changemakers through the 2026 Black Employee Network Scholarship.
This scholarship recognizes students who have been inspired by influential Black leaders and visionaries and are pursuing higher education with a desire to make a positive impact in their communities, careers and beyond. Applicants will share the story of a Black leader or visionary from the past 25 years who has shaped their goals, values and aspirations, while highlighting their own educational journey and future ambitions.
Application Period: October 1-31, 2026 • Recipients Announced: November 2026

We’re giving away two $3,000 scholarships through the Black Leaders and Visionaries Scholarship Program. Eligible students can apply by submitting a 2–3-minute video highlighting a Black leader or visionary from the past 25 years who inspired them and shaped their goals.
