What is an Employee Resource Group?

Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are voluntary, employee-led groups that foster a diverse, inclusive workplace aligned with our organizational mission, values, goals, business practices and objectives. The talent, skills and ideas that these groups bring to the forefront are inspiring and provide channels for our employees to feel included, valued and supported by the Company.

At Chesapeake, our employee resource groups are focused on creating initiatives that support employees and strengthen diversity, equity and inclusion at our Company and in our communities. As an active participant of an ERG, you will find opportunities to grow your professional network and develop leadership, teamwork, communication and project management skills that can be useful in your respective position.
