Chesapeake Mentoring Program

Our employee-focused culture promotes a workplace that empowers our employees to be leaders within their roles and in the communities. The Chesapeake Mentoring Program is an initiative beneficial to the personal and professional development of employees and the growth of the company respective to the following:

  • Enhance individual skills, knowledge and abilities
  • Ensure collaboration and sharing of expertise and ideas

  • Inspire future leaders

This voluntary program is offered companywide to all full-time employees. For a 12-month period, each mentee is paired with a mentor who is a company officer. The mentee and mentor are matched accordingly to balance strengths and experiences of the mentee and mentor. This presents the opportunity for each mentee to connect with a mentor who will offer insight, advice and expertise about the company, industry, leadership and more as aligned with the interests and goals of the mentee.
