George Navo

Mr. Navo was appointed assistant vice president, financial reporting in November 2022.  In this role, he leads the Company’s financial reporting and financial planning and analysis functions covering internal and external reporting requirements, technical accounting research and budgeting and forecasting activities. Prior to joining Chesapeake Utilities Corporation, Mr. Navo served as UGI Corporation’s senior director of external reporting and technical accounting, leading UGI’s functions in these areas as well as providing support on strategic transactions, capital market activities and companywide transformation initiatives.  Prior to joining UGI, Mr. Navo spent more than 13 years within the Energy Transfer family of companies, including Sunoco Logistics Partners, L.P., and Sunoco, Inc., with progressive roles and responsibilities covering financial reporting, technical accounting, consolidation functions and supporting strategic initiatives.  Mr. Navo is a Certified Public Accountant and began his professional career at PricewaterhouseCoopers within the audit and assurance services practice. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
