This Privacy Notice describes the privacy practices of Chesapeake Utilities Corporation and its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively, “Chesapeake Utilities,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) regarding the information we collect, the sources from which we collect information, how we use and disclose information, the choices and rights that may be available to you, and how to contact us.

This Notice applies to personal information collected through Chesapeake Utilities websites, customer portals, online forms and communication channels operated by Chesapeake Utilities and its covered subsidiaries and affiliates in connection with its business operations.

This Notice does not apply to information that is governed exclusively by other laws, such as employee data subject to separate employment privacy notices or information subject to the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, or other sector-specific privacy requirements. Depending on your interactions with Chesapeake Utilities, we may collect:

We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 without obtaining any consent required by law.
