Our Supplier Code of Conduct describes the dedication, commitment and actions we expect of those within our supply chain.
Scope and Applicability
This Supplier Code of Conduct applies to all suppliers, vendors, contractors, and consultants of Chesapeake Utilities Corporation and its subsidiaries and affiliates. Suppliers are responsible for ensuring adherence to this Code of Conduct by their employees, agents, subcontractors, representatives or other third parties.

We act with Integrity

We expect those in our supply chain to:
- Comply with all applicable laws.
- Do not offer, give, solicit, or accept bribes, kickbacks, or improper payments of any kind.
- Ensure policies and practices are in place to discourage any improper influence on business decisions.
- Maintain accurate books, records, and documentation and do not falsify or misrepresent business records or certifications.
- Use our information solely for authorized business purposes.
- Protect all confidential, proprietary, and personal information. Implement appropriate safeguards to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse of such information. Promptly notify us in the event of a security breach at [email protected].

Adhering to this Supplier Code of Conduct is the foundation of a successful business partnership. While no set of guidelines can be all inclusive, we provide these values as a base for conducting business with us. Upholding the highest standards and values is a shared responsibility, one we take seriously. This Supplier Code of Conduct extends to suppliers of Chesapeake Utilities Corporation and its subsidiaries and affiliates. Suppliers shall be responsible for communicating with their third parties. This Supplier Code of Conduct does not create contractual rights or establish any legal requirements for doing business with, or on behalf of, Chesapeake Utilities Corporation or its subsidiaries or affiliates.
