SHARP ENERGY TEAMS WITH BEAZER HOMES TO BRING PROPANE GAS TO BISHOP’S LANDING

Dover, Delaware — Sharp Energy, a subsidiary of Chesapeake Utilities Corporation (NYSE: CPK), announced today that they have joined with Beazer Homes to bring clean burning, environmentally friendly, propane gas service to their newest development, Bishop’s Landing, located in Millville, Delaware.

Sharp Energy’s Community Gas Systems™ (CGS™) will bring the comfort, reliability and convenience of propane gas to the residents of Bishop’s Landing, s a 449-unit residential community located minutes from Bethany Beach. The CGS makes it possible to serve a community such as Bishop’s Landing by distributing propane through a network of underground gas mains from a central storage facility, similar to natural gas service. Each home will have a meter to measure their individual propane use.
