Abhijit Bhatwadekar

Abhijit (“Abhi”) Bhatwadekar was appointed senior vice president and chief technology and administration officer of Chesapeake Utilities Corporation in 2026. In this role, he leads the Company’s technology strategy and administrative operations, including IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, data analytics and AI, customer operations, supply chain and vendor partnerships. Prior to his current role, Mr. Bhatwadekar joined Chesapeake Utilities as vice president and chief information officer in 2025.

With more than 25 years of experience, Mr. Bhatwadekar has led global teams and delivered enterprise technology solutions across the energy, insurance and media sectors. Prior to joining Chesapeake Utilities, he served as vice president of data analytics and customer experience at PPL Corporation and held senior technology roles at Gallagher and Nielsen. His expertise in digital transformation, AI and analytics supports the Company’s continued innovation and growth. Mr. Bhatwadekar also serves on the Company’s senior leadership team and advises the Board on major technology initiatives, customer relations, data utilization and cybersecurity risk management.
