Ashish Bhargava

Ashish Bhargava joined Chesapeake Utilities Corporation as assistant vice president of business applications in December 2025. He leads the development and execution of the Company’s strategy for its operations and regulatory portfolio of applications including gas and electric control systems, customer applications and field logistics services. Ashish brings over 20 years of experience in technology leadership and digital transformation, with a focus on driving innovation through modern technology like cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI) and automation. Before joining Chesapeake Utilities, he was the head of technology and product at PPL Corporation, where he successfully introduced AI-powered solutions to boost efficiency. He also held senior technology roles at NielsenIQ. Ashish holds an MBA and a Master of Science in applied computer science from Illinois State University, in addition to a Bachelor of Engineering in computer science from the University of Bombay.
